The MIT xPRO AI for Senior Executives program runs over six to seven months and blends online learning with immersive on-campus sessions, giving senior leaders space to build new capabilities without stepping away from day-to-day responsibilities while still engaging deeply with faculty and peers.

The AI for Senior Executives program is ideal for business leaders from across functions and industries who are looking to keep pace with technological advancements and learn about artificial intelligence for business, including the organizational and managerial aspects of applying AI.
Participants are required to have:

The AI for Senior Executives program leverages the expertise and resources of both MIT xPRO and the state-of-the-art Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at MIT to offer a curriculum that is at the forefront of AI research and education. The expertly curated curriculum will hone your executive leadership skills and explore key AI business applications, including AI and machine learning, design of AI-based products, and how AI is revolutionizing the workplace and nature of work.
The immersive learning experience combines 5 days of in-person sessions on the MIT campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with 20 weeks of online and live online sessions. In addition to the core curriculum, you will have the opportunity to participate in team-building activities, masterclasses with practitioners, and a campus tour during the in-person modules.

Throughout the program, you will develop a strategic AI roadmap tailored to your organization. This hands-on journey will equip you to identify AI opportunities, design implementation strategies, address ethical considerations, and prepare your teams for AI adoption. By the end of the program, you will have a board-ready AI strategy, ensuring you can drive meaningful AI transformation and long-term business impact.

Upon successful completion of this program, you will receive a verified certificate of completion from MIT xPRO. In addition to the certificate, participants will also earn 14 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). These CEUs quantify the time you have invested in structured learning as part of your professional development.

The AI for Senior Executives program has been designed with your busy schedule in mind. You will be required to commit not more than three to five hours per week, enabling you to benefit from this transformative program while fulfilling your day-to-day work responsibilities. The impactful program offers a blend of self-paced modules, live online interactions, and an immersive in-person experience.
The six- to seven-month learning journey includes in-person, live online, and recorded sessions with renowned faculty, industry experts, and global peers. You can take advantage of live sessions and the Slack channel to ask questions and discuss ideas with your success coach and cohort participants. Real-world examples and a debrief of the program learnings are delivered through a combination of recorded video and live online lectures. The program concludes with an on-campus networking event on the MIT campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The AI for Senior Executives program fee covers teaching fees, all academic material, and access to online coursework. The fee also includes coffee breaks, lunches and select dinners during the in-person immersions. Accommodations for the in-person event, travel expenses (domestic, international, visa fee, etc.), and other expenses not mentioned in the program fee are not included.
You can pay the full program fee upfront or pay in easy installments. If you apply well in advance of the program start date, you can receive a tuition fee benefit.
